6. Sugar
If you have eaten lots of sugar and have not been aware of the terrible effects of it, now learn how to control the sugar intake to protect your health. As recommended by the American Diabetes Association, women should only take 20 grams of sugar per day, the amount in men is 36 grams, and in children is 12 grams. Health risks of taking excessive sugar include:
- Tooth decay.
- Premature aging.
- Depression and fatigue.
- Obesity, diabetes, and heart diseases.
